The new Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM super telephoto lens is both compact and lightweight. Using Fluorite elements and advanced coatings, flaws like chromatic aberrations, flaring, and ghosting can be kept to a minimum. The use of the Fluorine coating can also keep smears, fingerprints and soiling away.

The build quality of the Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L II USM lens is excellent. While it is slightly on the larger side, as it measures 3.3" x 5.4", the two lenses still handle extremely well. The lens weighs 1.7 lb.
