The included Image Stabilization works great. As for the Ring Ultrasonic Motor (USM), it can achieve a very quick, accurate and silent autofocus. Full Time Manual focusing, as expected, is also available. Meanwhile, the combination of the 8-blade aperture and telescopic compression can produce a great background blur quality.

Image quality is excellent, as there's very little vignetting and Chromatic Aberration. Sharpness and contrast is also exceptional. The lens is most suitable for outdoor photography, specifically animal photography. It is also suitable for other long distance photography.
