Leica M8.2 Black Rangefinder Camera

The new Leica M8.2 Rangefinder camera marks a milestone in the development of a digital rangefinder camera for professionals. It is the first professional digital camera to utilize an ultra scratch-resistant material -- known as sapphire crystal -- as cover glass for the monitor of the camera. The monitor has been designed to be extremely robust and hard that it can only be worked and shaped with special diamond tools. To complement the monitor, the camera sports a special vulcanist finish making it very easy to grip and handle.

The Leica M8.2 Rangefinder camera features a new shutter that significantly reduces the level of noise and vibration. The new snapshot mode "S" of the camera is ideal for those who are keen on using short focal lengths of 21 to 35mm. Less than experienced users will also enjoy the feature, as the system automatically chooses the best setting for the shots by changing the exposure, ISO speed setting and white balance.

The camera has a new compact charger unit, which takes very little space thus making it ideal for travel uses. It also has a quick-charge feature, which allows you to take about 400 exposures.
