The Nikon DX 10.5mm f/2.8G AF Fisheye Nikkor lens is an ultra wide-angle and frame-filling fish eye lens that has been specifically designed for use with your Nikon DX digital SLR cameras. The lens is capable of delivering extraordinary images with a 180-degree angle of view. This ultra-wide picture angle is achieved by producing a smaller image circle, which makes it possible for Nikon to make the size more light and compact -- while delivering optimal image quality from the center to the corner of the image.

As one of the first fisheye lenses to be developed exclusively for the Nikon DX format, the lens features Close-range Correction (CRC) that can provide superior performance for sharper images when taking close up pictures. Utilizing an Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass element, chromatic aberrations and distortion can be reduced. It has a close range focusing up to 5.5".

The lens is powered by Nikon Silent Wave Motor (SWM) to achieve super fast and quiet autofocus. Meanwhile, the Nikon D-type of the lens design provides precise distance information for flash and ambient light exposure processes.
