The new Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens is a remarkable one-lens solution that makes a great tool in a wide range of situations. The lens delivers 11x zoom versatility, for a picture angle equivalent of a 27-300mm lens in 35mm format.

The lens features two Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements for unrivalled sharpness and color correction as chromatic aberrations are effectively reduced and even eliminated. It also features three aspherical lens elements that helps eliminate coma and other types of lens aberration such as flare and ghosting even at wide aperture. In addition, the lens uses Nikon Super Integrated Coating (SIC), which enhances light transmission efficiency and provides impressive color consistency.

The Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II lens comes with the newly developed Nikon Vibration Reduction II (VR) Image Stabilization. This allows for handheld shooting at up to 4 shutter speeds slower than would otherwise be possible, assuring dramatically sharper images.
