Street Photography ClassTuesday, August 14, 2012 (6:30pm-8:30pm) in Berger Brothers in Syosset
![]()
New York has a long history in this genre also known as human landscape photography. Berger Bros. Camera’s eNewsletter editor, Ken Nadle will share his techniques for shooting and provide examples of the various types of street photography. He will discuss his own images as well as those of great photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Helen Levitt, Elliot Erwitt and Joel Meyorwitz to name a few.
A review by the Color Association of the United States of Ken's 2008 show at the OK Harris gallery will give you a glimpse of what to expect: “Nadle employs the irony, humor and strangeness of NYC streets in his work. They exist as a documentation of reality – the spontaneous moments that are un-staged…caught at instants of action that are not only compelling but shocking.”
$50 if prepaid, $60 if paid the day of the class. For Information e-mail: Classinfo@berger-bros.com or contact Victoria, The Class Coordinator to Register at (516)762-3056 |
