Tokina 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 Lens

The Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-45 Lens is the company's foray into the fish-eye category. This fish-eye lens gives the photographer an approximate 180 degree of field of view with dramatic curvature of field – known as the fish-eye effect.

With this lens, you can capture an entire view of the subject, wider than the human eye can see. The Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 lens opens up an entirely new dimension of photography where you are inspired to be more creative.

Unlike other fish-lenses, the lens gives a full edge to edge image. An internal focus system allows you to focus from as close as approximately 1-inch, giving you the power to fill the whole frame.
The image circle of the lens has been created to match the smaller image recording area of digital SLR cameras.
The front element of the lens utilizes formulated Water Proof optical coating on the glass. This new coating makes marks such as spots left by water or finger-prints much easier to clean up than the standard multi-coating.
The rear optical group of the Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 contains one Super-low Dispersion (SD) glass element to reduce the number of elements in the optical design. This is essential in order to make the lens more compact, light-weight and faster focusing.
