A step up from the 7D is the
Canon EOS 5D Mark II. The Mark II straddles the line between serious hobbyist and pro level cameras, with such features as:
* Full frame 21.1 MP sensor which gives the maximum quality from all Canon lenses, more precise control over depth of field and less noise.
* The ability to shoot in extremely low light situations - night shots without a tripod, with an ISO range of 100-6400.
* Easier to navigate menu system with a quick control screen for common settings, as well as user defined modes.
* Full 30 fps HD video at a full 1080 resolution for stunning movies at 1920x1080. Effortlessly switch back and forth from video to still and back again.
