Occasionally, memory cards become corrupted and you are unable to retrieve captured images. The most common cause for this is using the same memory card in two different cameras and not reformatting. A good practice for avoiding problems with memory cards is after having downloaded images to your computer; don't delete images on the card using your computer. Instead, reformat the card in the camera.

The good news is that in most cases images on a corrupted card can be retrieved. The retrieval is free if the card was purchased from Berger Bros. Additionally, Promaster brand cards found to be corrupt will be replaced at no cost.

Retrievals are $49.99. When multi gigabyte cards require more than one disk, the per disk charge is $4.99.
