A circular polarizer is an extremely popular filter that is easy to use and will deliver great results with landscape photography. a circular ad polarizing filter will increase color, contrast and eliminate reflections in your image. like any other screw in filter you need to simply find the right thread size, screw it on snugly and you are ready to go. look through the viewfinder or screen, rotate the filter and you'll see the results immediately. colors will be more saturated, blue skies bluer and reflections greatly reduced.

*TIP If you stand at a 90 degree angle to the sun you will get the maximum effect from your polarizing filter. Do not stand with the sun in front of you or behind you to take the shot.

Light rays which are reflected by any surface become polarized. Polarizing filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens. The Digital HGX Circular Polarizing filter allows you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. It also will enable colors to become more saturated and appear clearer, with better contrast. This effect is often used to increase the contrast and saturation in blue skies and white clouds. PROMASTER Polarizing filters does not affect the overall color balance of a shot.
