The LH-76E Lens Hood from Olympus is for the M.Zuiko Digital ED 8-25mm f/4 PRO lens. It prevents unwanted stray light from entering the lens by extending beyond and shading its front element and offers some extra protection against impact. Additionally, the hood lock design helps prevent it from becoming accidentally detached from the lens.
