The deep blue color of this Blue Ridge bag is incredibly attractive and so dark it almost appears black, but not quite. Accented by silver stitching and metal hardware it exudes a sophisticated aura.
You’ll love the shoulder harness system which is designed for all-day comfort. It is extremely well padded and uses an s-curve design to fit many body types. A sternum strap keeps the shoulder straps in place. And an optional (included) waist strap can be attached to keep the bag tight against your back.
The main camera compartment is located on the back of the bag rather than the front. This keeps it protected when wearing the daypack. It is secured with a durable zipper. This compartment is highly customizable for a variety of imaging gear by employing movable padded dividers. The daypack’s upper compartment provides an additional 5 liter cavity to hold whatever you need for a day’s activities. Fill it with a rain jacket, lunch, or more photography gear. You can also access the vertical laptop compartment from inside this top cavity. A tiny magnet holds the laptop sleeve closed inside the bag while a 2-stage Fidlock® system on the outside lets you secure the top flap in one of two positions, depending on how stuffed the bag is.
Within each Blue Ridge bag, you will find a light grey interior against which small items stand out, so they don't get lost at the bottom of the bag.
Stretchy, breathable mesh side pockets on the outside provide places to stash items quickly without having to open the bag. They are especially handy for wet or moist items because they create separation from your precious camera gear while allowing airflow for drying.
Tripod carrying straps are included. These can be attached to special loops located at the base of the bag. After attaching them you can attach or detach your tripod using quick release buckles. Notice we attach the tripod to the bag’s base rather than one side or off the back. This helps you handle the additional weight of a tripod in the most balanced fashion with a lower center of gravity while wearing the bag.
The back of this Blue Ridge bag has an additional trolly strap which is convenient when traveling. Just slide it over the handle of your rolling luggage.
Outer fabric is fully treated for water resistance and a full rain cover is included for the unavoidable deluge.
