Celebrating 100 Years of Leica, this limited edition D-Lux 8 Digital Camera pays homage to the shape and materials of Leica's history, including the M11 rangefinder and the original Leica from 1925. The minimalistic redesign features leather-textured armoring and a nickel-colored finish on the lens, lens cap, and controls while omitting the thumb grip, red logo, and camera model name. Instead, the hot shoe cover has a subtle black "100" logo designating the camera's commemorative centennial.
 

 

The D-Lux 8 is adorned with a huge 4/3” CMOS sensor with 21 megapixels, giving sharp visuals even in low-light environments. Additionally, it has a Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens – which is a 24-75mm equivalent – which gives any user the versatility they need. Its focal range allows for crystal clear photos of beautiful horizons while also being able to cater to portrait photographers. Finally, it has a bright f/1.7-2.8 aperture that gives anyone creative control over depth of field.
