Utilizing precise, no-backlash, high-torque strain wave gearing, the Sky-Watcher Wave 150i GoTo Strain Wave Mount is a compact but highly capable motorized GoTo mount for your optical tube assembly. The mount weighs just 12.8 pounds but can support a 33-pound payload with no counterweight and 55 pounds with optional counterweights. It is controlled by Sky-Watcher's popular SynScan GoTo hand controller or app on a paired device and is compatible with other controllers such as ASIAir, Eagle, and StellarMate.

The mount holds optical tubes of all sizes on a D/V saddle and operates in alt-azimuth or equatorial tracking modes with RA and Dec home positions and a 0-90° latitude range. A red backlit latitude display and bubble level make setup easier, and an RA brake prevents backsliding if the power goes out.

D/V Hybrid Saddle
The saddle accommodates both Losmandy D and Vixen dovetails.
Fast Slewing
Track satellites and space stations with the Wave's swift slew rate of 10° per second and the downloadable Satellite Tracker Application for Windows PC found on Sky-Watcher's International Support website.
Strain Wave Drive Technology
Whether you're mounting a small wide field refractor, a stocky Maksutov-Cassegrain, a massive astrograph, or a long, glass-heavy triplet, the Wave's adaptive payload capacity and add-ons and accessories ensures compatibility with a wide range of optical tubes and tripods.
GoTo Connectivity
The Wave mount easily integrates with Sky-Watcher's SynScan hand controller or SynScan app, allowing users to control their telescopes by hand or wirelessly via smartphone or tablet, as well as through third-party control platforms (ASIAir, Eagle, StellarMate, etc.) enabling access to advanced features like plate solving and automated imaging runs.
Cable Management
Designed for the serious astroimager, the Wave 150i mount features through-mount cabling and a powered hub built into the saddle with ports for autoguiding, Dec USB, and 2 Dec outputs. The RA hub sits at the back of the mount and never moves, keeping all your cabling neat, organized, and safe from snags.
