Upgrade Details
With a retro inspired design, the unit is easy to operate. Settings include TTL, manual, and multi modes, as well as an auto (on-camera only) mode. The flash itself has a 59' guide number at ISO 100, a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec, and front/rear curtain sync. These features provide allow you to use it in multiple ways and make it ideal for street and documentary photography, portraits, and many other scenarios.
Classic & Modern
Designed for both digital cameras and film photography, the II version of the flash adds TTL capability, but keeps the previous Lux Junior's auto mode with a metering sensor that automatically adjusts the flash output with ISO and aperture camera settings. The Lux Junior II S has a 2.5mm sync port that enables connecting to select film cameras with PC sync sockets. Sync the camera's ISO and aperture settings, and the flash will provide accurate fill for low-light situations.

Thanks to a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless receiver, the Lux Junior II S can be triggered remotely using an optional transmitter for creative use in multi-light off-camera setups. Its receiver wireless functionality offers A, B, C, and D groups, 32 channels, and 1-99 IDs. Note: the Lux Junior II S can only be used as receiver, it cannot be used to trigger other Godox flash models. The flash acts as a receiver unit that receives wireless triggering signals.
Rechargeable Battery
Unlike its predecessor, the Lux Junior II S is powered by an internal 7.4V, 700mAh rechargeable battery, which provides a recycle time of 1.5 seconds, fast enough to keep up with the action. The power output is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/128, providing approximately 400 full-power flashes on a full charge. Use the included USB-C cable and connect it to a 5V, 2A optional power adapter for charging.
Creative Flexibility
Easily adjust the flash body thanks to its dual-axis rotating design. It enables 180° rotation for vertical or horizontal shooting, while its head can tilt up to 90° for bouncing in 30, 45, 60, 75, and 90° positions. Godox includes two magnetic 1/1 and 1/2 orange color filters, as well as a magnetic diffuser to help you create soft, even light for more creative results. The entire set of easy-to-swap magnetic filters is sold separately (MA02 Kit).
