This lightweight shotgun-style mic features a cardioid polar pattern that is well suited for camera-mounted recording, as it focuses audio capture on the subject in front of the camera and minimizes audio coming in from the sides.
No batteries are required; the condenser mic capsule relies on plug-in power from your phone or camera and offers a 35 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response—suitable for capturing audio for most viewable media. Foam and furry windscreens are included as well as a soft pouch for storing the mic. For DSLR cameras, camcorders, and recorders, a 3.5mm TRS cable is included. For smartphones, tablets, and apple products, a 3.5mm TRRS cable is provided. The mic also includes a shockmount to minimize vibrations and handling noise, ensuring a smoother audio capture.
