The HB-N106 Lens Hood from Nikon is designed for the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S lens. It deflects unwanted light from entering the lens and causing flare. It also provides a degree of protection for the lens from accidental impact and precipitation. This is a spare or replacement hood for the one originally included with the lens.
