Low lighting conditions are no match for this powerful lens. With a fast F/2 maximum aperture, low light captures are crisp and vibrant. Things like taking shots inside a dimly lit cave or interior lighting conditions are no longer a challenge. You can even get as close as .85 feet to the subject without distorting the image! The auto focus takes over and gives you the optimal shot, or you can switch to manual mode and get it yourself! The picture coverage areas are approximately 62 degrees and you don't lose image integrity or clarity at any point in the viewing area. In other words no edge out of focus and the entire shot "usable".
