Combining class-leading maximum aperture with precise perspective and focus plane control, the Laowa 24mm f/2 Zero-D Tilt-Shift Lens from Venus Optics provides a 19mm full-frame equivalence for medium format Hasselblad X-mount cameras and is designed for applications that demand architectural accuracy. Its ±12mm shift capability allows photographers to correct converging vertical lines directly in-camera, while the ±10° tilt adjustment enables manipulation of the focus plane for expanded depth-of-field control or creative miniature-style effects. Laowa's Zero-D optical design minimizes distortion at the source, producing clean, natural geometry across the frame.

The optical system incorporates 13 elements in 10 groups, including extra-low dispersion, ultrahigh refraction, and aspherical elements to maintain sharpness and clarity across wide compositions. A 14-blade iris renders smooth out-of-focus areas, while the manual focus design allows precise control down to a close focusing distance of 9.8". Designed for professional workflows, the lens includes a built-in 360° rotating tripod support with an integrated Arca-type plate and sports a standard 77mm front filter thread.

Perspective and Focus Control
  • ±12mm shift capability for correcting converging vertical lines in architectural and interior photography
  • ±10° tilt adjustment allows manipulation of the focus plane for expanded depth of field or miniature-style effects
  • 360° rotating lens body enables quick orientation changes between vertical and horizontal compositions

Optical Performance
Zero-D optical design minimizes distortion for accurate geometry straight out of camera

13-element, 10-group optical structure with five extra-low dispersion, four ultra-high refraction, and two aspherical elements

f/2 to f/22 aperture range enables depth control while maintaining edge-to-edge sharpness

14-blade diaphragm contributes smooth bokeh and natural highlight rendering

Professional Design
  • Manual focus mechanism with a minimum focus distance of 9.8” for detailed close-up compositions
  • Integrated tripod support with Arca-Swiss plate for stable mounting and streamlined workflow
  • 77mm front filter thread allows direct use of screw-in filters without external holders
