Why buy A Mirrorless Camera

The mirrorless camera for me is one of the more exciting developments in photography in the last few years. Instead of the mirror found in traditional digital SLRs, mirrorless cameras use an electronic viewfinder to see the image. The lack of a mirror enables these cameras to be built smaller and lighter without loss of quality or functionality thus becoming the ‘go to’ camera for many people who love their digital SLRs but sometimes find it impractical to carry the larger camera with them. Additionally, because there is no mirror or the mechanism to flip it out of the way when a picture is taken, mirrorless cameras are capable of shooting more frames per second than digital SLRs. For many people, including me, a mirrorless camera has become a necessity and a welcomed replacement to the ‘point and shoot’ type of camera.
